Kilreen Debonaire Lady

Debonaire Lady

Kilreen Debonaire Lady F4329 (Cassils Debonaire x Bomber’s Bridget) was bred by Mrs. Frank Ryan of Ottawa and made her debut under the guidance of John Henderson. The feminine bay mare was a winner in the Futurity Program of the Canadian Hackney Society and Ottawa Valley and finished her career with a win of the Junior Hackney Pony Class and Reserve Grand Championship at the Royal Winter Fair. She was then sold to Mrs. Kenneth Wheeler and under the guidance of Bill Robinson took wins at Devon, Lexington and Louisville including being named World Grand Champion Hackney Pony. Debonaire Lady was retired as a Broodmare and finished her career under the ownership of Mr. Dinwiddie Lampton of Kentucky. Kilreen Debonaire Lady is yet another example of the fine Hackney Ponies bred in Canada.  (Inducted March 2006)
