Lord Brilliant
Lord Brilliant was foaled in 1917, sired by Warwick
Model exhibited by Miss Emilie Viau of Montreal. The Viau Family owned
a prosperous bakery in Montreal. Lord Brilliant dominated the Heavy
Harness division in Canada in the early 1920's. He was exhibited at
the first Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in 1922 where he won the King Edward
Hotel Trophy for Canadian bred Harness horses. He won the trophy again
in 1924, as well at the championship Stake. That year in particular,
he was shown in 10 classes in the division, winning all 5 single harness
classes, and a member of the winning over 15.2 pair, Collection of three,
second place Ladies Pair, over 15.2 Tandem, and third prize Four in hand.
In 1925 he again won the Canadian bred class and retired the King Edward
Hotel Trophy, Ladies, over 15.2 the Championship stake, the over 15.2 pair,
and Collection of three.
