Kilreen's Shann Oq(Mr. Pepper)
Mr. Pepper was purchased in 1958 at
Maridale's Dispersal Sale by Kilreen Farms(Mr & Mrs Frank Ryan).
At Ryan's he showed as a pony to Walk/Trot Pony under saddle(Brian Henderson
rode him). Later he was sold to P.Gilligan where Wally McCaig trained
him. When it was decided he no longer showed as a pony under saddle
- he became a docked hackney horse to drive. (Inducted March 2002)
