Dufferin Starlight



Dufferin Starlight, born May 24 1957, was bred by Hackney Hall of Fame Breeder James Franceschini.  During her life Herb O'Connell, Frank Ryan, Fraser Hurdman and Dr Wallace Kent owned her. 
In 1966 Starlight became the only Hackney Horse in the world that started as a novice at the great Devon Show and took every class in her first show, including the stake.
Made all American 1966
At the Royal Winter Fair - Horse Show in 1966 Dufferin Starlight won the single Hackney Horse Stake, with 13 in the class and also won the single Hackney Horse over 15.2 with 11 in the class.
Starlight won the Centennial Medal for both the champion harness horse and champion hackney horse at the 1967 Royal. 
From Chicago, Devon, Toronto, Ottawa and several other shows Starlight won many ladies and amateur and stake classes.
Dufferin Starlight was one of the greatest Hackney Horses to be shown in Canada.
